Keysite Capital Partners is a boutique investment firm, focused on creating real estate finance solutions for owners and investors. Keysite develops long-term relationships, providing senior stretch and subordinate mortgages and mezzanine loans on multiple property types in New York City and Northern New Jersey.
THE KEYSITE APPROACH
We offer long term reasonably priced capital and take a private banking approach to our relationships with our borrowers. We also maintain strategic relationships with senior lenders to provide an entire debt solution.
We provide senior stretch and subordinate mortgages and mezzanine loans to family offices and other private owners. We finance acquisitions or recapitalizations of multifamily, office, retail, mixed-use and industrial properties and portfolios in New York City and Northern New Jersey.
We develop relationships through a private banking approach and customized real estate financing solutions. We can structure a variety of real estate loans and provide liquidity for single assets and portfolios.
Opportunities include asset recapitalizations, legacy asset upgrades and acquisition capital as well as partner buy-outs and family liquidity.
We maintain excellent inter-creditor relations with our bank partners and help them manage their real estate portfolios by sharing in loans to valued borrowers.
With our strong institutional backing, we provide our borrowers and bank partners with certainty of execution.

Barry S. Seidel
Barry Seidel is Co-CEO of Keysite. Mr. Seidel was Senior Vice President of Republic National Bank of New York (“Republic”), where he began his career as the Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and held various positions for nearly 20 years. At Republic, Mr. Seidel was responsible for real estate lending, corporate real estate and special investments in real estate for the bank, its private clients and its principal shareholder, Edmond J. Safra. After the sale of Republic, Mr. Seidel became a partner and member of the investment committee at The Athena Group LLC (“Athena”), a real estate investment company. He was responsible for acquisitions, finance and management of Athena’s real estate opportunity funds.
After his time at Athena, Mr. Seidel co-founded Resolution Asset Management Co. (“RAM”) which merged into Cantor Fitzgerald. RAM was capitalized by an institutional investor to assist healthy banks in acquiring failing banks and assets by providing capital and real estate expertise. Mr. Seidel was Chief Operating Officer of RAM and Managing Director of Cantor Fitzgerald Merchant Banking.
Mr. Seidel served for over 10 years as a member of the New York State Common Retirement Fund Real Estate Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Rutgers Business School Financial Advisory Board and the Finance Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York. He received a B.S. in economics from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in economics and finance from Rutgers Business School.
Bruce K. Bruene
Bruce Bruene is Co-CEO of Keysite. Mr. Bruene has over 30 years of experience in real estate and finance.
Mr. Bruene was a Senior Managing Partner of Principal Enterprise Capital, now known as Partners Enterprise Capital. Mr. Bruene joined Principal Global Investors in 1994 and Partners Enterprise Capital in 2000. This experience includes entity-level private real estate investing as well as the management of direct equity real estate investments. Prior to his time at Principal Global Investors, Mr. Bruene spent seven years with John Deere Credit Company.
Mr. Bruene received a B.B.A. from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. Mr. Bruene is a member of the Urban Land Institute (and New York’s Housing Council) and Real Estate Board of New York.
Daniel E. Miller
Daniel Miller is Vice President of Keysite. Prior to joining Keysite, Mr. Miller spent four years at Halpern Real Estate Ventures, a private equity fund with a focus on development and high-yield structured investing in the New York metropolitan area. Prior to that, he spent two years at Rubenstein Partners, a Philadelphia-based real estate private equity firm focused on value add office investments and advisory services throughout the Eastern United States.
Mr. Miller received a B.S. in economics with concentrations in real estate, finance, and entrepreneurship from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jenny Laboy-Brace is the Office Manager/Executive Assistant of Keysite.
